Suzanne is affiliated with Payne & Fears’ San Francisco & Silicon Valley offices. She provides advice and counsel to employers regarding all manner of labor and employment issues including employee relations issues, administrative charges, leaves of absence, accommodations, policy development and implementation, wage and hour compliance, performance management, and reductions in force.
In addition to her labor and employment counseling work, Suzanne also conducts employee complaint and misconduct investigations; strategizes and partners with in-house counsel and HR regarding developing protocols for timely, thorough and legally compliant investigations; prepares investigation documentation; and responds to administrative agency charges.
Suzanne has 13 years of experience representing clients in all range of labor and employment litigation matters, including claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, and defamation. Suzanne also has two years of experience conducting impartial workplace investigations into a variety of allegations ranging from harassment, bullying, discrimination and retaliation, to failure to accommodate and leaves of absence issues, and employee discipline.
Suzanne graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2001, and is an active member of California Bar Association.
