Christopher J. Taylor is an attorney in the Irvine office of Payne & Fears LLP. He handles all aspects of labor and employment litigation, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions and wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and unfair labor practice claims. Mr. Taylor also has experience advising and counseling clients on a wide range of employment law issues.
Prior to joining Payne & Fears LLP, Mr. Taylor was an associate with Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in its Orange County office, where he obtained significant experience in labor and employment law and civil litigation.
Mr. Taylor is a graduate of University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Lead Article Editor and Style Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review and was actively involved in pro bono work.
Prior to law school, Mr. Taylor lived in Lusaka, Zambia, where he served as the advocacy officer at an urban refugee center. During his time in Zambia, he assisted refugees and asylum-seekers and worked with the Zambian government and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees officials to address obstacles faced by the refugee community.
